12" and 16" Airless tires.

I have seen Airless tires or tire inserts.   for the sizes for the c5.

Are they any good?

They seem cheep enough.   Would eliminate punctures.

Robosoft, May be a bit hard on the ride as the C5 does not have any suspension.
I suggest keeping with a set of city jets.

Rolling resistance?

If the manufacturer says its close to normal tiers then the suspension qualities should be similar.  I think they are designed for prams and wheelchairs.   Prams may have suspension but wheel chairs don't.

As for rolling resistance if the inserts fit inside the original tyre and give the tyre the Always fully pumped state, the rolling resistance should be the same if not better as it will not deflate over time.

And lets face it the c5 isn't great anyway at hiding bumps.

Would be interesting to know if rolling resistance really is important.  E.g.    the worst tyre v the best on a full battery run on the same course how much of an extra distance would you get.  I would say the batteries ability to fluctuate would ruin the test (not to mention the rest of the quirky c5).

As of yet i have had no puncture or faulty tyre (bad mistake saying that ill get one tomorrow).  So I'm just thinking of options.

On a side note just won some wing mirrors on ebay.  so thats me tying to figure out how to fit those for now.

No, no.
On a given day the best tyre via worst will give a claimed better range with a given battery state. What the improvement would be is impossible to quantify, as you say,but with car tyres the efficient types give a claimed 10% improvement in fuel savings.

The best way to test this would be to take the c5 to a hill and let it roll down freely on both sets of tyres, and see which goes the furthest?

Thats a good test.

Just finished fixing a c5 with Circuit board faults that has sinclair original typres i will compare it later with the ones sold here on my c5.  (But i feel the results would be different every time - depending on path taken down hill - but ill try and keep to the same line)

Interestingly I have fixed two c5's this week with a dodgy 10 pin red wire to pod connector  - Fixed by scraping a stanley blade around all the pin posts.  and a bit of Electro lube.

This one had a fuse & r1 blown.

I had that with my last one and ended up taking the connector off a spare wiring loom.
