Hello, I have recently bought a Zike which I aim to get up & running
The Original Battery appears to be excellenmt & charges very well indeed. but had no joy when trying to operate the electric motor - In their wisdom sinclair put a blade fuse at the motor (inside the bottom bracket so after many allen bolts (nearly all different lengths) this has been replaced.
upon re-assembly with the good battery charged - (rather unsurprisingly the control board is at fault) when everything is connected the motor constantly receives full power even with the control switch disconnected, without an on off switch this poses a problem.
Whilst its not a C5 part i was wondering if someone may know where I could source a Board, the rest of the Zike is in very good (if a little neglected) but hardly used condition)
I have seen a similar post recently so it would seem control boards on the zike are a weakness.
I hope that someone may be able to help sourcing a board.
