Still got my ZX81 and gear plus two Spectrums !

My first computer and still have a big soft spot for it even if my current wrist watch has a memory a thousand times bigger :)

we don't have the hardware anymore, but I am showing my son the Sinclair range through emulation. He's just started to code in spectrum basic. We enjoy a game of jetpac, manic miner & skool daze.

The emulation is spot on as well. Shows how sad I am I let the thing emulate the load sequence with flashing bars the lot LOL.

Sir Clive Sinclair has always been a hero of mine.

The flashing side bars, happy memories!

As mentioned I still have my ZX81 and a couple of spectrums and the basic programming language I learnt from it really gave me a good headstart with Microsoft Visual Basic Application language used to program behind the scenes in office products such as automating routines in Excel and Word.
