Sinclair zike to keep or sell ?
« on: 30, May, 2014 - 15:39:50 »
Hi I have just acquired a zike and don't really know what to do with it . I can't seem to get a new battery for it but a local bike shop said they could put a £390 one on and with fitting on back/conversion etc would be just under £500 total .
So wondering how easy it is to get other bits etc ?
It has only been ridden about 3 short times and been sat in his garage for the last 15 years so apart from dust it is as new with basket , charger and manual .
I am looking for small electric bike or scooter as got a bad foot and can't walk far so also may sell to fund this .
What are zikes worth in this condition ?
is there any interest on here ?
It Seems far to good to put on eBay but May have to if no interest on here .

Thanks Andrew

Hi there I had a Zike some years ago and regarding the batteries some one had fitted 2 small rechargeable batteries that are used in small electric scooters also used in some house alarms and placed them in the basket and it worked well ...
