Hi, I don't really understand what you're saying...

Are you saying that you can use two batteries and join them up, or are you saying that we should put our power connections on the wrong way round and blow ourselves up, or even worse - our C5's?

 :o    ???    :o

Do you not think that this could be why your POD has blown?

I need advice from the more experienced before I attempt this myself!

If your idiot enough to do either of these things - you will damage it.  The C5 uses a 12v system. If you cross wire it you will blow it. If you connect 2 batteries in series to make 24V - again you will blow it.

You can do a 24v conversion, but it does not use any of the original electronics.  Before doing anything like this - read the forum guys !!

Attempting a 24v conversion on the cheap like this is not a good idea.

It will fry your pod and damage your control box, there is a reason why Adam Harpers 24v "turbo" conversion (and the previously available c5alive kits ) were so expensive - they involved quite a lot of work.

You will need a 24v controller at the very least, plus you then open the can of worms concerning the fragility of the gearbox.
