buzzer sound..... have i connected everything correct????
« on: 19, November, 2012 - 21:28:45 »
i have just re-connected my control box, and, after connecting all the wires etc, all i get is a buzzing sound when the button is pressed
The pod lights up fine but have i one something wrong??
i am using a battery charger 12v, connected to the control box
i am using the original key switch assembly which i believe is ok, could this be the problem?

The motor has been serviced and is fine
the pod is fully working and so is the control box

Any ideas

Hi Hammy -The buzzer sound is probably your relay pulsing in the control box as the charger can not give out the start current drawn by the C5 - im sure there is a post on here where this happened before - you will need to run it from a battery or you risk causing damage to the electronics - Marty

  • You don't have to be mad to own a C5, but it helps

One other possible source of buzzing is that battery chargers have no smothing and have a ripple output.
