Exciting News

C5Alive have now joined CTC (The National Cycling Charity) as an affiliated club

If you are like us and have been at all concerned about riding your Sinclair C5 and causing damage or injury to others then this could be worth considering.  We have joined C5Alive as an affiliated club and have also joined as individuals.  This means we can now offer this insurance to ALL of C5Alive members.

I have checked the terms and conditions of the policy and a Sinclair C5 is covered under this policy as it is  an EAPC bike so as long as it is a standard C5 you can be covered, EAPC requirements are below:-
The bike must have pedals that can be used to propel it
The electric motor shouldn’t be able to propel the bike when it is travelling more than 15mph
The bike (including its battery but not the rider) must not be heavier than 60kg if it’s a tandem or tricycle
The bike must have a plate (sticker) showing the manufacturer, the nominal voltage of the battery, and the motor’s power output

What does this mean for you..

For a small cost of £18.00 per year you can now Join as an individual

By joining you will be covering yourself against claims made by others for any accidental damaged caused by you or your cycle. Below are some of the benefits of joining:-
