Charity event for 2012
« on: 19, September, 2011 - 19:12:21 »
Next year i am planning to do a charity event for Help4heroes.

The plan is to take a C5 to the summit of Snowdon in North wales (and bring it back down)  ;D

So if anyone wants to sponsor me that would be great ! More info nearer the time.

I am going there in a couple of weeks time and will have a look at the different walking routes to the top, (some are shorter than others, but harder than some of the longer ones)

I should have  "RAMBO" finished by then, so will use that one.

So watch this space for more info next year ......

When you say take it up!

Snowdon is just a few mins away from me. I haven't even taken the train up.

Wish you all the best.  There are 2 c5 in Bangor ready for a get together.  (but Snowdon! your on your own. he he.)

Hi there ...

Been to the summit a few times, seeing that 4x4 up there gave me the idea  ... 8)

I will have a few dummy runs over the next few months (well until the weather turns really bad) and see how it goes (without a C5)  ;D

Will be in Llandudno in October, so might have a trial run then, see which is the easiest route up.

I take it you and someone else will be carrying Rambo up, as I pushed mine about two miles once (the tyre came off, and I wasn't carrying any spare parts at the time) and it really hurt my back,
Good Luck Plod, you spoke about this on Sunday sounds a good fun way to raise money for charity, I will happily sponsor you.
