As we know, the c5's isn't the easiest thing to secure which is why I seldom leave mine unattended. A chain and padlock is obviously essential but, if the worst was to happen and someone did decide to give my c5 a "better home", would this be of any use - especially if a c5 was ever recovered by the Police ;

..would fitting one of their security kits even be a deterrent ?
Not all that expensive, this could be something worth considering.

I've registered my C5 with immobilise, so if it is nicked I can get it back, but I've not considered any of their various marking kits. I don't know if the C5 has anywhere suitable for the bike tags to go, but perhaps some of their branded, numbered stickers would be a good idea?
I remember getting my bike security marked a while ago, I considered the tag at the time, but I discovered that few police stations outside of London have the reader for the tags, and it's hit-or-miss if it gets checked with the reader anyway (if the sticker has been removed, this is). Of course, this was a while ago, so things may have changed now…
Edit: Or perhaps one could epoxy one of these tags somewhere to the body?

This might be as effective as well! Just screw it on the C5's bonnet! 8)

micro dot is another option, a tracker is possibly a tad over the top though - how would it know it was moving? ;D

Thats only any good after its been stolen and recovered, personally I don't let the thing out of my sight if I can help it.
I think Retro Andy has some kind of a chain (I think its him) attached to the chassis and can wrap it around a lamp post. I like that idea..

So good in fact that I copied him! That's how I lock mine up too.

Me too!

Not me, I would use a chain around the rear axle if needed, but like Umpa I'm not one for leaving my C5 unattended.
