Now that things are slowly falling into place - new job, new shift rota and new ownership of C5alive - it's time to start enjoying my c5's again.
Usual set-up . Meet at my place for about 11am...hang around chatting for a while then a nice ride out to Tilgate Forest. Stop for some more chatting & light refreshments before making our way back to my place.
Run is about 10miles long, takes as long as it takes ! No hurry or schedule set :D
Best news for novices, Crawley is very flat ;)
About 90% of the run is on dedicated cycle paths away from the traffic so it's a perfect "first time" run for those yet to venture out in a C5.
Depending on numbers attending and the weather, I could always flash up the BBQ....that should guarantee a downpour :o

Looks like I AM attending, Thanks to mark =P
Saved once again by him XD
Thanks man, Really appreciate it.

That is great news ! 8)

Chalk me up for it!
My C5 is still in bits (less bits mind) so i'll need a loaner

Any chance of a address for the sat nav for the meeting, assuming the meetings still on? I supose a number may be good in case I get really lost!
Mark, still okay to borrow one of yours?
Oh, and Karl, if my car can fit it, any chance of getting that broken shell for my frend (seeing as Im up there anyway, mind you, me fiat chinq may struggle)
So many questions....

A big thank you to Karl and Angie for great food and hospitality ;D

yep - as Martin said , a good run ...the rain made it all the more fun, just like in Wales. Steve got covered in muddy water as I overtook hinm (twice) :P, there were no major breakdowns, just one loose wire and a puncture .
A good introduction to the world of C5's for Kurt. 8)
He liked it so much he bought the one he had used for the day ;D
-
Looked good
Wish I could have been there. Any hopes of fixing the Brake of my car in a half hour were skuppered by the nice ATS man.
But I'll get the next one. and as I said, looked a good day.
-
Great pics , I'm glad you all had a good time despite the weather !
Poor Steve getting covered in muddy water ;D ;D ;D
PS - Steve , they say revenge does not taste sweet , well I reckon its got to taste better than muddy water . Next time just wait until next time Karl!
;D ;D ;D ;D

;D :D aahhh ,the joys of having the only 24v on a run - you can abuse your victim and sod off without fear of being caught :o

Firstly a big thank you to Karl and Angie for making me feel so welcome at my first meet (and the grub!), as well as a loaner and a go on your much prized Voodoo.
Also a big thank you to Martin, Steve and support crew for making it such a fun day.
I had a great time and have become firmly hooked, especially with the purchase of 'Jetpac', my newly named C5. This has already been a great hit with my family and I have already been out several times locally with a huge grin on my face.
I am really looking forward to the Horsham meet and catching up with you all again. Also a chance for revenge on Karl for all the puddle splashing! (Already planning several mods and 24v kit is very tempting).
-
Karl , it seems you may have upset a couple of people
I think you better get tooled up for the next run !!! ;D ;D ;D
