Another mad idea from me today

Making a set of custom canvas side panels that come up to the top of the body. A metal/plastic arch that slips into each end. A plastic window sewn into another canvas part would attach to this arch. Then, a canvas part with a front & rear plastic window sewn in would zip into the top of the custom side panels with the side windows installed on the arch. Something like this;
By 'strengthened canvas' I mean it would probably have cardboard in between two layers or something. The rear window would probably be supported on two poles coming out of the place where the high-vis mast would usually slide into. It would be held together with zips/Velcro for easy of dissassembly.
Share your views on this, anyone think it would actually work?
