Replacement Drive Wheel

I've found a drive wheel which should do the job the old one did, but in a slightly better manner, specifically this one is made from Aluminium.

You can see pictures of it here:

I've had this lying around for a little while, only now have I got round to bringing it to London with me and taking it down to my Uni. department's mechanical workshop to be mated with the requisite clutch bearing.

As you may notice, it's a smaller wheel than the original, this was not deliberate but due to the fact that it was the biggest I could find cheaply. I may still investigate other types.

Unfortunately I can't say exactly when I'll next be home to test it, but of course the first issue is getting the right size belt for it!

Hopefully it'll be successful!

It is always worthwhile exploring some alternatives - even when Adam Harper is back in the saddle his supply of goodies wont last forever......but then again Chas seems to be quite good at sniffing out a hidden stash or two  8)
