fully tested pod problem
« on: 06, October, 2010 - 20:49:34 »
Can anyone help me solve this problem just brought a c5 minus the pod i then put my tested pod by chas on it that works 100% and everything was perfect but then after about 10 minutes i noticed that the lights that go up and down to indacate speed and going up hills etc etc had stopped working and even going down a hill fast it still showed red on the pod.I  guessing theres a fault in the control box and wondered if anyone could tell me what diode was at fault thanks marc.

Hi it is most likely to be the op amp (358) or one of the transistors (poss t3) in the control box

Both available at Maplins, don't have the codes at present.

If you change the Op amp, i find it a good idea to fit a socket to the PCB then plug the Op amp into it, just makes it easier to replace if you need to change it in the future.
