Battery indication
« on: 20, July, 2009 - 22:24:09 »
Hi Folks - we took our rebuilt C5 out for it's first test drive and she went well but noted one slight fault -
The battery indicator goes down quite rapidly beeps then resets to full condition and so in a loop - anyone know of this fault - I have a power wiring kit fitted and a new battery.
Many thanks Martin

PS the pod reset's itself without diconnecting the battery.

I know c5martin has been a little unwell lately, he wasn't great when I collected the recent batch of wiring kits

Might be best to drop him an email  ;)

I freely admit to not knowing much about the inner workings of the pod, but I do remember Martin telling me that on quite a few occassions cleaning up the red connector block sometimes helps.

I have the pod and am going to swap out the chip and see I would have done it sooner but have been busy.

Mart I have tried and tried to send the photos it says my pop has timed out - yet other emails go fine.  I'll keep on it....
