Hi all just bought another c5 in need of a complete restoration and a load of parts ..Will Start it very soon .

Here is the C5 that I will be restoring ...as I bought it  loads missing and damaged but no problem ...



















This is how it came with the items striped of the body (some damaged some missing but no problem will soon have it back to running condition






And here it is after a complete strip down of parts ...

Looks like a very big job. But I have seen what you have done with other C5 's that only look good for the scrap heap, then a couple of months later it looks bran new. :) :)

The shasee (Don't know how to spell) looks the biggest problem  ;D

Not worried about the chassis as most of it is surface rust ....

How much do you think it would cost to rebuild the shasse There is one on eBay now for £50 if it would be easier or bidding for £30

I suspect the seller is just using this to boost the price; it was previously listed at £150.

This is the same guy who was asking £25,00 postage for a rear wheel  :o, and from another vendor I only paid £8.50.
