Would add some grip in the winter months but I love the look of Schwalbe one, and of course they are low resistance too.

I wonder if the mountain bike ones would make the ride a bit rattlely?

...you end up with a "land rover" hum  ;D , Radiomarty had some knobblies fitted during an earlier Crawley run and raised quite a smile  :D

I think I will put on a Schwalbe on the front ...

I am using the original axle ...

just been working on the electronics the body I have had no wiring at all so I am replacing it with my own to take in account the 12 volt and 24 volt system ...(.lights indicators horn amp meter will all be 12 volt)

Special 24V stickers Lance? Is that wise seeing as it's not strictly road legal?

What would happen to you if you got caught on the road with 24 volt kit on they cant ban you

Tell them you're running on 12V. I seriously don't think they would bother checking. They probably wouldn't know what a 24V conversion on one of these is in the first place.

Probably an on the spot penalty - just like riding your bike on the pavement. But Kam's right. They wouldn't know how to check even if they knew the law on electric vehicles.  8)

I'm guessing that you are using a motor vehicle not complying with Construction and Use regulations, unregistered, uninsured, no helmet. Probable punishment, severe.

Not if you're using it at the A.E.R , Brooklands or similar off-road events/venue  ;D

I think as long as it's the first time you get caught you would get a warning at worse. Several times you might get more trouble. Get 12V stickers all over it how would they know?

PS - any more pictures Chas? I love seeing the progress.  ;D
