Looks like a wheel chair motor but a bit larger

if it is from a wheelchair probably best not to advertise the fact, I get enough jokes at work about c5's as it is  ;D

Haha - and the originals were made by a factory that "also produced torpedo motors", we don't mention washing machines!  ;D

Hi thanks for that but It won`t be a tank but something  special ??

I will  test it on a old body first while I work on the new one that will be going on it ..

If all the tests go ok it should be ready in about a month

Hi all just to let you know that today I have been out on a test run with the 24 volt C5 that I am building and all went great .But the battery's died on me (they are about 4 years old but I did manage to do about 5 miles before they gave up and after that  it was peddling the last mile back home ...Now it`s time to take of the old body now the testing has been done and concentrate  building the new one up and fitting the extras . Take a look at the body I used as you will see it`s not one of my best c5 body's but  it did the job .No lights /boot/ mirrors/ indicators / front and back wheel covers missing no pod no wiring only for the motor control .But like I said it did the trick......

Nice one Chas, I like it. How about the 24v drive and electronics.

I hope my 24v will be done for the summer (bad back at the moment).
