During the 70's & 80's Lucas ,and several other firms, sponsored a series of Electric Vehicle challenges.

These are piccies from some of those events ;











Not sure if it's just a case of rose-tinted specs, but I can't help thinking the 70's and 80's was when we had most fun  8)

I think which ever decade you grow up in, its where your best memories are, its the 80's and early 90's for me. I guess its because its when so much happens to you before you have to grow up and work for a living, like getting drunk, leaving school, raves, passing your driving test, your first car and girls.
