40 years of progress ?
« on: 29, May, 2009 - 09:29:40 »
Amongst the piccies of electric vehicles from the 70's & 80's that I have borrowed is this article ;

..having read through it I'm left with the feeling that there has really been very little progress with electric vehicles since the article was first written in 1970 :o

What a shame   :-\

One word "batterys"

The lack of big advances in battery technology has held them back. IMO electric vehicles will never become replacements for combustion engined vehicles no battery will ever have the range or the quick refuel ability of a petrol/diesel/hydrogen/lpg engine. Alternatives will come im sure but for now all we can do is improve the effiency of the technology we already have.
