Well I have been on a mission lately to find what i would consider the best grease for nylon inner planetery gears. From one of our US partners I have been in contact with, they use a high speed nylon inner gear system like the C5 gear box. ( only in principle ) A problem they said that with the lithium based, some have petrolium and some are synthetic. I did wonder about lithium being a problem, however from what I have now found out the white teflon based grease that has litium is synthetic, the older LM is petrolium.
This is the brand I have been informed of they use and the service intervals are : machine gears aprox- 550 rpm @ 8 hours a day for 6 months then gear strip down and relube. We used to supply an edible grease that was specifically designed for plastic gears - but it was very expensive.
Normal general purpose grease seems to do the job ok .
I know that C5's are very slow, and that the driver could become somewhat peckish whilst re-charging the battery every few miles, but obtaining succour from edible grease from a hard to reach spot like the gearbox? Why not fill the boot with cow-pie?
i sourced a tin of molyslip, sthis stuf was really popular back in the 70's and marketed as "the most slippery substance known to man'.
yet to re-grease mine due to other demmands

Hi, I've only been using my C5 for a short while but I used Teflon grease in the gearbox and all bearings. It works great! The C5 coasts really far and very smooth. You can buy it from Halfords for about six or seven pounds, look in the bike section and it comes in a white tube.
Finish Line Teflon Grease (DuPont Teflon)
27% lower wear rate
44% higher extreme rating than before.
Sounds good, I must service my motor next spring time, may give it a go.

In diving equipment they use grease that is perfect for the job.
It doesn't effect the plastic and it does not give any residue.
It worked perfect for me. £3,00 for 50 grams.
To be complete,
It was "griffon" silicon grease and the tube it was in was only 15 grams.
