Blimey Chas - you've got your work cut out with that one - is it covered in some kind of tape ? Keep the photo's coming be great to see you get it back to it's proper condition. :)
Nice to see it being restored and not scrapped :o
Looks fairly complete ,even if the motor has been chopped out !
Like Marty says it needs a bit of work :)
Thats a bit more of a challenge for you Chas, keep us posted with the pictures.
Retro Andy.
Yes it will be a challenge the worst thing is the tape ...I v taken it off but it's left a sticky residue and it's going to be hard to get it back as it should be.But at the moment I'm testing /repairing pods ,Then must complete the restoration of the C5 .when that is finished I will be building another petrol/Sinclair c5 motor C5 like the last one I built some time ago ....
will keep photos posted
Sounds like some serious modding is about to take place....looking forward to that ;)
Try using a water displacing/lubricating aerosol to remove the sticky residue. It works great on that sort of stuff. I use WD40.
jason
Ok thanks Jason will try it right now and let you know if it works .bye Chas
Tar and glue remover is really good and and good hot pressure wash will do the trick
Retro Andy
Thanks Andy will try it . Chas

Experimenting with the stripes is nice , I've always been tempted to alter the colour of the headlight decals but not sure how well received that would be :-\
