Title: Ring RSC8 Battery charger
Post by: Lancealot on 23, November, 2010 - 18:45:45
Hi all,
Just being new to owning a C5, I have asked quite a few people about converting to a leisure battery & a respective charger. After trying a few peoples chargers I bought a charger from Halford £40 but after only one charge it packed up.

I therefore look around and under some advisement desided on a Ring RSC8 Inteligent battery charger that also reconditions. I have got my friends old sinclair battery partly working (i.e. it holds a charge but he is only getting upto 4'ish miles on a charge-too long without charge).

We have tried it on a 85Ah leisure battery and it has driven the motor for over an hour. Not bad for £39 from Euro Car parts Ltd in Leeds and better than any on ebay

Hi there, I use a Ctek automatic accucharger Multi XS 4003.
It has lots of extra options, like charging while its freezing cold, re juvenile old battery's etc. price ca. 60 pounds. Plus and i like that especially, it comes with an extra cord that you can keep connected to your battery poles and has a plug at the end. Come home, plug it into the charger, presto.
