Title: recumbent bike from old Sinclair C5
Post by: frankev on 05, January, 2011 - 20:31:21
This is what I spotted on the mighty internet. It's what beautiful things you can do with an old C5.(http://lh6.ggpht.com/_za9Q6sbThGc/TSTZdlPnPbI/AAAAAAAABUs/ezz3Qqv4V78/Sinclair%20ligfiets%201.jpg)

It has five gears, handbreak, diskbreaks on two wheels and lots of goodies.
Liked to share it with you all.

Saw this too yesterday. I think it's great people do all kinds of creative things with it. Like the original better though ;-)

Who knows, this might be more of what Sir Clive had in mind had he not been hampered by restrictive legislation ?

Still love the original c5 design though  :)

I had contact with the owner, it is a trike, originally made for handicapped bikers, he just put on the sinclair parts for looks and comfort and was/is sold for GBR 170,-
