Title: another pod problem!
Post by: peter2ltr on 19, February, 2012 - 15:48:44
hi well my main problem with my c5 so far is my pod.
it lights up fine but the load never goes above the first green led
also my battery indication leds go out very quick if you switch it off and on again it resets its self
hope this makes sence
iv looked for loose conections and corroded conections but everything looks fine!
is it repairable or look for new pod
any help would be much apprecaited ;D

Hi Pete - The problem with the motor load staying in the green can be due to an issue in the control box - however the battery indicator dropping rapidly would point to an issue with the ULA chip in the pod - are you in contact with any other C5 users ? - a quick swap of pods would confirm which it is  :) :)

Hi Peter, as per radiomarty if you are deffo with the wiring (seems similar issued to what I have had) then advise were you are located.
We are very spread out around the uk so hopefully someone could lend you a pod or radiomarty test shop.

Cheers radiomarty ;) if it is the ula chip that is faulty is the pod not repairable? I wouldnt want to waist anyones time if it is likely to be ula chip and not repairable! Pete

C5Martin once said that around 50% of faulty pods were repairable so it's always worth a go  ;)
