Post by: banzai pinball on 11, April, 2012 - 15:03:59
Hi

Just got myself my first C5 and the LED's on the POD do not come, everything else works. Can anyone let me know the things to check to fix. I am able to check voltages , etc, so any help will be great

Check to see if the pod is even wired up, it might be that it's had a mod done to remove the need for a controll box and pod.  Assuming that it has not, best hope is a dry joint in the pod or poor connections in the pin block at the back of the pod.

Have you gone out for a long run and drained the battery down ? The pod has a built in battery protector and will Buz when the battery has discharged to prevent over discharging.  If it does it's likley not to be anything serious.

The originals were 1/4 watt but worth upping it a bit to maybe 1 watt - having said that I have had no trouble with 1/4 watt replacements - available at maplins / e-bay etc  :)
