The calculator kits - what the point    -  its like having an airfix kit with 3 bits job done.

would have taken the same time to put all the bits in the box neat as it would have to assemble them,
at least the returns would have been reduced.

I guess thats old fashioned business sense.

Probably done for tax purposes like the kit form computers.

Like the Playstation 2 Was shipped with a Programming language CD to make it a computer not a console.
