I am looking for a horn. I have every single accessory for the C5 except from the horn. If anyone has a horn for sale please get in touch. ;) ;)
Thanks
Luke
They seem to be very rare as I have only seen one on eBay once :( :(
Are you looking for a standard 12v C5 but does not matter as I have used this from maplins a FK84F at £3.39.
Lance
I have one in my draw of bits I'm my tool box, it's from a car alarm.
It is load and I was going to use that on mine when it's done. Will use the wiring diagram from the handbook to wire it in.

They sound identical to me. I'll see if I can get the one from Maplins, it would be easier. ::)
A lot less hassle as well
And a lot cheaper. They are 3v to 24v as well...................................
I am going to use it on my conversion.............
Lance
I'll be getting a 12v one for my c5 hopefully
Hi Luke the one I have works from a voltage of 3v all the way to 24v. I tested it using standard 12v.
They are from Maplins FK84 @ £3.59 each.
Here is a photo of the original fitted in the C5 and the one from Maplins.

What have you done about the microswitch though? Have you managed to find a way to operate it from the handlebars? I've always wondered if there's a way to do that... Like if the power button to turn the motor on broke!

Yes we are using the micro-switch on the handlebars. My dad made a bracket for it so it could mount on the handlebars ;) ;)
If any one is looking for a horn there is one on eBay
