Okay, I'm new to C5 world, but I'm always looking for alternative parts supplies. Is the front wheel and tyre hard to find?
I just had a look at our pushchair and the front wheel is a 12 1/2" x 1.75 x 2 1/4", the same as on my C5. Tyres for it are about £10 each. Great plastic wheels too, but the axle' s on the buggy rather than in the hub so would need a separate axle. Just a thought if front tyres are needed anyway... plus it's a rather sporty whitewall ;)
I don't think that the front wheels on the C5 are scarce enough to go looking for alternatives. Still some secondhand ones about and it can always be replaced with a metal bicycle wheel of the same size.
Well there are tyres in the C5Alive shop if that is what you are after

Yep, but it's useful for me to know that if I ever need one there are 3 on the buggy in the dining room... Now to work out how to steal them without her noticing ;-)
I'm not sure those buggy tyres would be much use on the C5.
You may want to look at this link http://c5alive.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,2482.0.html before liberating the wheels and fitting them to your C5.
Wow, yep you're spot on with the make! Oh well, was worth a try lol :)
Hi Danny,
you'll just have to kit the buggy out with with Schwalbe tyres. ;D ;D ;D
The last time I spoke to my tyre suppliers the "city jets" were still going to be made in all sizes except for 16" - the size we need for the rear wheels on our c5's >:(
So front tyres should be ok, but an alternative for the rear will probably need to be sourced. I'm still looking at a few possibilities.
