Question: Shell I buy an original Sinclair C5 horn or Maplins buzzer  
Option 1: Maplins buzzer
Option 2: Original Sinclair C5 horn
Option 3: Or something different

Hi all,

I am wanting to get a horn for my C5 but I don't know if I go for the original horn which would be a lot of fuss or if I just go for the Maplins one but then there would be no wiring  :-\ :-\

The Maplins one sounds almost identical to the original on

I think it's a matter of personal preference. If you really want originality, spend more and get a genuine one. If not, you might as well go for the cheaper option of the Maplins one.

The thing with the horn is it will never be seen, so if it sounds the same I doubt anybody will ever know the difference lol!

I'll have ago of getting the original horn but if I have no luck I'll get the one from Maplins

Yes I got the buzzer today..........


But it plays songs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to take it back some time. Good thing my dad has found another horn which is 10 times better so we will fit that. 8) 8)

Yes Lance, we used the part number and reserved on on the Maplins website and this is what we got when we picked it up from the store

I looked at the item a few times and the price was the same when I got it, but it dose not matter as I have got a better horn

Yep that is what we reserved on the website and we got something different. But I have now got a horn which is louder and better  ;) ;) ;)
