Had a lovely day here yesterday so me and a mate went out on the two Sinclairs.
About 2 miles in, Sinclair #2's motor got noisier, crunched and I haven't been able to turn it since. It is so seized I couldn't push the Sinclair back. Anyone had this happen before?
Hi you may find that the magnets have come off ..Or the geatbox inner has shreaded ..The only way as you will know is to strip it down ..And let us know ....
I stripped it down this evening and it seems quite clear why the motor wouldn't turn - haven't got a clue how it could have happened though.

Hi looks like age has caught up with it .But keep hold of the post's and check out the gearbox outer case for damaged teeth ..Also have a look at the bearing it may have seized up ...

Finally got this one fixed yesterday. Finding parts to replace the damaged gearbox parts proved difficult so I ended up sourcing a fully rebuilt motor locally for £45.
Ok well done looks like you will be on the road very soon ...
