I thought it looks a bit like a johney cab out of total recall. Great little thing.

What a shame it ended up like this a lot of work and knowhere after that, does anyone know what happened to the one sold?

I agree, a real shame to see it fail - especially since the guy had the courage to give it a go.

No idea what has become of it, didn't notice anything on the battery vehicle society forum :-\.
