Title: WD40
Post by: mike7201 on 26, November, 2009 - 13:44:52
Is it permissible (in the eyes of a C5 owner) to use WD40 on moving parts - chain, wheel parts, to keep them working and in reasonable order?

Thanks,

Mike

WD40 is excellent stuff, but isnt great as a chain lube. You need something heavier for that, at least 3-in-1 or better still proper chain lube .

You can't beat wd40 for most lubrications (well allmost)  ;D I mean you best to use a chain lube on the chain !
