I've just been robbed of £20 by the DVLA 

...photocard driving licence expires next month so had to renew it.

You do get a reminder through the post and a carefully worded invite to hand over the cash.

i know of this little 'ruse', but when i past my test - dick turpin was riding shotgun

at the time i past i'm sure it lasted until you were 65, and i did not get a reminder to renew, niether have 2 of my sons.

fortunately it was mentioned by Dom on the BBC's one show and we happen see it.

btw, you also have to renew @ 70, but at least its free yip **** hee! and you can do so on-line (if your eyesights ood enough  ).

so speakup young man - i know your here somewhere!

Because my licence only lasts for 3 years I get a new one for free  however if I lose it I have to pay the £20 for a replacement
