Ok just done it. Go into the dcim folder and right click inside this, you then have the option to create new txt folder with notepad. copy and paste the earlier date format and change date / time. any probs send me email details and i will forward attatch.

Hi there ...

I have tried this now in both XP and Windows 7, but still no joy. i am sure i am doing exactly as you have told me, but it is still stuck on a 2008 date and time

i have been adding the pasted text to a file i have created in the DCIM FOLDER, this when listed shows me a file 100media and my tx file called TAG.txt

I then follow the instructions but the date/time stay the same and the file tag.txt is still there.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrgh 

Looks like i am to remain in 2008 ...

go into your folder options and turn on file extensions. Its possible your file is actually TAG.txt.txt

Well after a lot of shouting and more luck thananything else i have changed the date  Hooray ....

I had a look on You tube and found several people had posted videos on just the same problem, all really saying the same thing, but it s now showing the correct date and time for now, , it really is pain trying to do.

At ome point it went to 2017 ..... 

But still pleased with it for the price

electricDave is thinking about fitting one of these to the c-5000 , do you think it would cope ??

WOULD WORK REALLY WELL, I AM THINKING OF FITTING A COUPLE, ONE ON THE BACK AND ONE ON THE FRONT
