Hi to everyone I met on sunday.
Repairs to J5 are all finished and I,m going out for a test run tomorrow.
I got a bit carried away tonite and have stripped down just about every bit that moves and cleaned and lubricated the lot.
I now have a battery strap that is long enough to go round the monster battery, I used the old battery harness that I got with the car so it all looks how it should.

You've got a really nice C5 there, it was worth the effort sorting those little snags

I took it out for a run after I got it all back together and it really runs nice and quiet.
Did martin mention the problem I had with the axle bearing where it fitted into the new motor mount? I had to glue the bearing in with araldite, I,ll see how it holds up over the next couple of weeks.
Just got to figure out a nice sympathetically fitted stereo, Got to have sounds when on the move!!!
