phil - mate , I am absolutely blown away. You've taken pimping to a new level. In fact , using the word pimping seems a bit of an insult when trying to describe such customising genius

What an EXCELLENT job on restoring C5
I what one with Chrome!
The side strips are a big winner a must for the shop.
Can we use your name associated with the strips as it was your idea.
Also the front wheel covers look great would be another great addition to the shop.
Keep the picture coming.

It's such a crying shame this C5 couldn't be at the Brooklands event  , it would be the star of the show

Yeh it would have been good to take it along for everyone to see,but it would be a long way to travel from sunny scotland,sorry.

thanks Martin,yeh its looking a lot better than it did when i started.

Yeh the chrome does make a difference,the side strips have worked out well,and yes you can use my name associated with them if you like.

i found it difficult to get a front wheel shroud so the covers were the way round that,i think they actually suit it better with them being chrome.

Hi retro andy,iam still here and logging in now and again,havent done much to the cobalt cruiser since last time i was on,I have added a blue LED cooling fan ,and would like to add a few more underlights but havent done it yet,My dad has made up a new rear hoop for the back which ill get fitted on and get some photos on again.heres the hoop before fitting,



My project just now is another three wheeled vehicle,a reliant robin ive been pimping that a bit as well,cant leave anything original thats my trouble.







Hope to get back to the C5 soon.

Is that instead of the hi view mast ? it looks so cool, will you be painting the inner C5 part to stand out more ?

Yeh its instead of the high vis mast,I wont be painting the inside because it would need to be split into 2 sections to do this and it would be pretty hard to do without damage,also the paint would get pretty scuffed up in the foot wells so ill just leave it the natural grey colour.
