C5 'Ubmobile' for sale! Plus a good condition 'standard' C5

Hi all!

   I am selling the well-known (by the C5 fraternity, anyway!) 'Ubmobile' C5 'GT', which is a rather remarkable modification. I acquired the machine through a Scottish motor museum for £650, and it is currently on ebay with a B-I-N of £500. I would much rather sell it to one of you fellows, though!  It needs some work on the drive-belt, and the battery is poor to useless (I've only used it unpowered!). Otherwise, it's in reasonable patinated condition. I have also a very clean, nice standard C5, also with a duff battery, but otherwise VGC. I have one key for both! I'd happily sell the two together for £750, so if this is of interest let me know!
  If anyone can tell me how to post photographs on here, I'll do so! Otherwise I can email them to you!

We tend to use a hosting site for the piccies, I prefer photobucket. . Some info copied from the c5alive Forum Guide ;

Using photobucket

1) log into your own photobucket account and upload your photo's

2) place your cursor onto the picture you wish to post within the topic on this forum, you will see four options appear

3)  right click & copy the fourth/bottom option (IMG code)

4) paste the link into the posting

Your picture should now feature in the forum posting.

Remember, if you move or delete the picture within your photobucket account then it will automatically be deleted from this forum.

Well, £450 to members of this splendid forum! ;-)
I'll take £400 if pushed: I'm only selling it because my staff are annoyed with it cluttering up various parts of my veterinary practice: they already have to put up with a full-size original Dalek, another C5 (£300, iyi!), a constantly-shifting collection of sports cars and military vehicles in the car park, and various firearms. And aero engines. And model tanks and trains. Etc. It's sad, really.
Go on, it's only the fiscal equivalent of about twenty KFC Bargain Buckets. I expect, how much are they now?
Seriously, if anyone wants to see it, let me know. Timewasters welcome.

Can't remember, is this running a c5alive ( or similar ) battery wiring kit, or does it still use the orginal battery / key combo ?

Realistically i can't afford it ( the downside to Christmas is having to spend money on my boys presents instead of C5's for me  ) plus you have asked very nicely  , so happy to step to one side. Hope you manage to get it , or it atleast goes to someone on here, as it would be cool to see it at the shows again.

But if you happen to see for sale a purple C5 with a spiders web, and other graphics .. then let me know
