« on: 26, December, 2008 - 12:53:26 »
START WILL BE FROM WIDEWATER CAR PARK SHOREHAM

Follow link for more information including map.

http://www.westsussex.gov.uk/ccm/content/roads-and-transport/walking-and-cycling/cycle-routes-and-maps/coastal-route-leaflet---shoreham-to-worthing.en;jsessionid=a9iIgow1gMTc

You should arrive at 10.30am for an 11.0am start.

We will start from Shoreham and follow the coastal cycle path to Lancing and on to Worthing.

At Worthing we can stop for ice creams etc and then proceed along the coast to Goring Sailing Club.

The return journey will be back along the coastal path to Shoreham.

The round trip will be 12 to 14 Mls all flat so should be an excellent day out for all. :)

BN43-5LS is Widewater Court in Kings Crescent.

Follow Kings Crescent to the sea end turn right into West Beach Road this will take you to Widewater Lagoon Car Park.

Widewater Lagoon is south of Shoreham Airport and to the west of Shoreham Beach.

If I get my body work done in time I would like to attend. I'm testing my C5 to see how many miles I get from my battery (not many at the moment) and it's a long way from Nottingham. But the C5 god willing. ...:::.....

Kurt has been on the phone & has reserved "Dave" for this run. One of Kurt's relatives is visiting and wants to take part  8)

Unfortunately Kurt has had to cancel due to his wife being admitted to hospital , a reasonable excuse - after all it's important the wife gets well soon otherwise all the hoovering and washing etc gets neglected  :o :P

Seriously, best wishes to Tracey and hope she gets well soon   ;)

This also means that "Dave" is now available   :)

Sorry about the short notice for the cancellation but Tracey is doing well and maybe discharged later today, but not allowed to lift anything heavy for 6 weeks!

Ah, but I have a cunning plan!

Saw an advert for the Orek Excel vacuum cleaner which is 'so light you can lift it with one hand'  ;D

Joking aside, thanks for the best wishes, which I shall pass on and I hope you have fun tomorrow and the weather is a bit kinder down there than last time.

Fingers crossed I will see you at Brooklands.

Not sure which carpark it is, there are two so I am parked in the one showen in the thread. I have a feeling I should be in the other tho as it's near the start of the cycle path.

The weather is awesome, really sunny :)
