Just connected up the c5 wiring kit and connected a battery to my c5. The lights came on but when you clicked the the accelerator button there is nothing. The c5 also doesn't have a pod I don't know if that's the reason why it won't start or another problem :(  Can anyone help?

The C5 won't run without a pod, unless you make some modifications to bypass the thermal cutout and other safety features...

Thanks. I'm going to have to buy a pod

There are people who've recreated the pod electronics with more mordern components so you might want to look into that. I'm thinking I might do the same myself to allow me to make a few changes.

I mostly want to recreate the original functionality but it would also be nice to install a lookup table for more accurate battery charge level reporting (and compatibility with LiFePO4). Datalogging would be nice too, so I can plug the pod into a computer and get a graph of motor current and battery voltage vs time.
