I bought a beautiful set of new mirrors from the plumber, new in the box. Now I am mounting them, i discovered a problem.
There are for each mirror two black plates for mounting them to the C5. A fracture plate and a spacer plate.
Now my problem, for the right mirror it is OK. I have a Black  spacer plate nr. RH M87204 (Mirror-outside) and its buddy fracture plate RH M87202 (inside).
On the left mirror however I have two exactly the same fracture plates nr LH M37205 (inside). Here I miss the outside ( spacer) plate.
Any body that can help me? I would make me very happy.
Also for sale, one fracture plate nr. LH M37205 for left mirror  :D :D :D :D :D :D

Finally did it. Fitted the mirrors with the self made spacer plate.

and this is the result

the spacer plate in front is the one from me. It is a little bit broken on the back side but no-one can see that.  ;)

I found a left mirror bracket on E-Bay so I am no longer seeking, now I'm going to try to make the spacer plates on both sides in matching blue with the side panels.
tnx for the compliments so far. Wait for the Meeting in Juli! I'll have a suprise or two.

By the way, paint stripper, this chemical goody you use to remove old paint works perfect on cleaning a body. Even takes the dirt out of the pores. Experiment that worked out very well. (although I did not use it on this C5, this one is brand new.)
