I'm going near Thame tomorrow but dont have 750 in spare change...

Might be worth a "look" ;)

I've just checked eBay and they are 750 each,
It would be fantastic if it was for both.

The price for the two £1500 is less than what has been paid for just one in the past  (Boxed) so someone will get a bargain !!!

Hey
Ive just brought one of these via ebay.
The sellers not very imformative via ebay Messages, so as long as when i get there is new/mint, then i'll be taking one home with me.

Hoping he gets in contact and i can collect in the next 2 or 3 nights! 2 hour drive each way,so an evening purchase is on the cards.

Spoke to the vendor, he sold the first C5 in the UK in 1984 he was saying, looking forward to having a good chat with him and getting some stories from him.

Will let you know how it goes, i'm taking a clio, so boot space will be tight, but im taking roof racks (got some today incase) just incase. Sat nav borrowed, so all ready.

Nice! Cheers,

C5 were only produced in 1985.Couldn't have sold the first one in 1984!!

I have brought some C5 off this guy - he is a very nice bloke who owns an electrical shop and was one of the first independent traders to sell C5'S - he and his friend / son used to drive them round his town and he is very Pro c5 - interesting chap.

Yep, doh, he must have meant 1985! I see it was around 9 months of production/sales!

Well, i got it yesterday, missioned up to Oxford and met the seller - very decent guy- and picked up my new C5. The other one is going this weekend to the London Transport Museum! which is great news.

Im going to post up some pics in a bit, i only have a few of the C5 as basically we had to open it! it just wouldnt fit safely in the car in the box which is quite big. So we opened it carefully, nothing cut, so i can reseal it this weekend. (or do whatever!).

This evening i steamed open the accessorie box, images of this, obviously everything is totally untouched and new, really excellent.

The C5 is an early grey boot model and came with a High vis wrapped in the footwell. IVe not checked the serial numebr yet
