Solar or Not

I was wondering if any one has linked their C5 to a solar battery.
Thinking of attaching a 12v 10w panel to the back to recharge the battery. Has anone tried

I had a go some time ago with a caravan solar charger  . I am now using a wind turbine + charger on my garage roof to trickle charge when not in use.

Adam Harper has a display piccie of Arthur C Clarke with a solar powered c5, so I guess it's been done but for various reasons has not caught on.

Doesn't mean you shouldn't still have a go at it though
