After our recent return from AER i stumbled upon Matt removing a u/s petrol engine from a mini motto and stating he was going electric !!!!!!

I bet Chas could put the exhaust to good use   :)

C5 ENTHUSIAST + RESTORER

I`m sure I could make something out of it ......given time

Karl

That's similar to the bike that donated its front forks to the c-5000 project....do you think Matt is working on a c-5000 Mk2 ?? :-X

The guys at AER warned me this could happen....an ever increasing thirst for speed that cannot be quenched  :o

Lancealot

As you mentioned Goldfinger was going 24v it might be a 24v / petrol hybrid he is making ?????? ??? ???

My kids have got a little electric motorbike like this and they love going up the cycle path on it  :)

..looks like the AER "bug" has really taken hold...Plod, Scott and "Goldfinger" all going for 24v conversions.

Next years event should be good ...proper c5 drag racing  ;D

Should make the Brooklands circuit sprint "race" better too.Have to have a separate 24v class t include 12v larger motors.

It's tempting ......  :)
