Wow bargain for someone.

I would buy if it was with-in collection distance but I expect Holland is a bit of a drive!

Just suggested this to the Wife, it was all going well, until i said " Collecting ANOTHER C  5 "     :'(

Hi Plod,

That sounds familiar :D :D :D. they are the same everywhere!
I did try to compare my few sinclairs to the massive amount of shoes she has. ::)
Now I am sleeping in the barn.

Hi...
I´m new here, and I have just discovered the C5, and it was love at first sight :-*. I gotta have one, so Frank.. I´m very interrested, but I live in Denmark. Is it possible to send it here?

/ Bo

Hello TXAXBO,

Of course it is a possibility to send it to you, but two years ago, I went to Viborg. This took me 8 hours by car, with the whole family. So I don't know where you live, but it might be a good idea to consider driving here. (costed me about 160 euro in gas). I live in the east side of Holland, close to the German border.
I transport my C5 usualy on the roof of my car. I will check coming monday how much it cost to sent it to you by post or courier.

And don't worry, I do have 5 C5's to sell. Have to make place for five more, coming next month.(including an as good as new one, totally complete)

I've sent one to Denmark, you might want to contact Henrik for some advice ;

Hi BooBoo,

No, I didn't buy any C'5 s from rotterdam, only the one with 7 gears that I use daily. But that was in februari or so.
No, I just buy them whenever I see one for a good price. My problem is that I have to many, considering the fact that I will have 5 new one's next month.
There are not to many handicapped people here that fit into an adapted Sinclair.(with 7 gears and hand throttle)
You have to be a little technical to fix small repair on route and flexible enough to step in (and out again :D). Since I am getting known for my Sinclair addiction and the good work (others say so, I don't) I do with them, I do get a lot of offers.
Since the new ones that are coming are practically new and unused, those are the ones I use to adjust.
One thing I don't understand, Karl, since you sended it to Henrik, shouldn't I ask you about the details, weight, dimensions, prices, etc?

Hi Frank...
I have a Peugoet Expert Van, which I can use for transportation http://seek4cars.net/da/Marked/Biler/Peugeot-Expert-2-0-HDi.html?car=0f28a39d-c8c8-434f-9bc4-8b08738e8801
But the problem is the time. I do not have any vacations left this year. I live in Aalborg. in the northern part of Denmark, so it is a long trip, but if it is much more expensive to send it here, I will (of course) come and pick it up myself.. :-)

Hi Frank - When I sent a c5 to Denmark I left all the arrangements up to the new owner. That way if there were any problems it would not involve me  ;) I just dropped it off at the collection point and they dealt with the rest  ;)

Some courier firms can be a bit tricky when it comes to c5's so if you wanted to go that route then trying to get in touch with Henrik may help.

frankev

Hi BooBoo thank you for your explanation, I am on my way now to check for prices at the postoffice and some Courier companies but I will definitely take you advice with me.

Txaxbo, I think this one is sold for 360 euro, not definitive yet, but I doubt anyone will go over that amount in the coming days. I don't know how handy you are, but I also have a C5, very complete as well, mirrors, double battery, keys and central power off key. No high vis mast, but any bicycle flag will do better than the original mast. I almost lost one of the poles, course it jumped out of its hole and I keep hitting my head against the poles. >:(
So, this one is complete and in good working order, but I usually do all the lubrication again, put on new tyres, brakes, brake cables, etc. Not that this one needs painting or welding. Its in great shape. But you have to do the maintenance yourself. I didn't advertise with it yet, so just let me know. I can post some photo's here so you can tell me if you want it. You can do a bid then.

This Sinclair is sold. A nice guy from Rotterdam gave me an offer I could not resist. ;D
For those of you that are still looking for a Sinclair C5 in Holland. I am now working on the next one. Guess I will need two more weeks or so. :P
A two battery model that is in great shape. Also very complete. As soon as I have some pictures of the end result I will post them here again.
I am also working on a Sinclair (road virgin) to build in a 7 gears, hand throttle, kevlar tires etc.
This one will only be for sale to someone with a handicap, who will benefit from the possibilities this Sinclair gives to improve their physical condition.
Although, to be honest, I do believe that this 7 gear, hand throttled version of the Sinclair C5 makes more sense than the original version. Sorry for the C5 purists, but by adding these improvements it is much more practical. Just like tilting the steering-bar a little upwards so you can make sharper corners because the handles do not touch your seat when cornering anymore. The turning circle becomes about two meters instead of the original 8 meters. ???

..I'd advise leaving the handle bars in their standard factory position , they were set that way to reduce the chances of the c5 tipping over during cornering :o Being a trike it doesn't take much for it to topple during "high speed" cornering .
