Lucky!!

We've got some heavy snow forecast for this evening and I seriously hope they forecast is right. I bought a quad bike just over a year ago and it hasn't seen the snow yet, if it does snow there will be alot of fun to be had on it. And if the snow stays till Monday, commuting on the C5 should also be fun :D

Got snow here in Sawtry ( near Peterborough ). Started about 5pm and still coming down. Not heavy, just constant.

Took the dog for a walk in it and he loved it  ;D

It's finally started snowing here :bounce::bounce:

..Having been quite rightly criticised last winter, Gatwick made a very bold claim earlier in the year that (having invested in some new machinery) they could now cope with as much snow as Oslo. So I was really looking forward to some heavy snow to see how well they coped  ;D

So far the snow is not really that heavy here but I note Heathrow has already shut...with Gatwick still coping  . So far ,so good 8)

On a smaller scale I really enjoyed being out in my 4x4 last night, especially as I fitted some nice new chunky tyres only a couple of weeks age  :D

Had about 5 inches of snow here. Went out on the Sinclair and only passed 4 cars and none of them stranded, I was the one who broke down with a puncture on the way home. Pictures;

Well done it looks like you had a snow  puncture ( sorry a slow puncture)

steve_1360

Looks like fun other than the puncture!

Karl

bad luck on the puncture but well done for being out there and braving the elements  8)

How far from home were you when you had the puncture. Did you fix it whilst out or did you have to push it home or get a lift back.

It was about a mile from home. I carry a full set of spare inner tubes in the boot so fixed it on the spot.

Your pod has the same fault as one of my Sinclairs Agro! Top work venturing out in the snow!

Looks like my POD - what is the fault?  :-[

Nought but rain down here in Bristol - pity cos I recon that could be fun in the snow.

Well done for taking your C5 out in the snow, I have in the past when it was only a couple of inches and got stuck, we had a good six inches Saturday

Retro Andy.

Is it the steady yellow leds either side? I always thought them a bit pointless but probably used to define the edges
