Hello all,

Here are the video of my first ride/test for 4km in flat terrain.
http://youtu.be/UJ1rRuwDR-w

I have need about 12min o the average speed was about 15-20km.
But here are my negative experiences, feelings:

Front-panel wobbles to much as the mirror are moving –Mounting a column
Battery voltage goes down to 10V – maybe new one
The Motor isn't a help and the pedaling have a high frequency – need a GEAR!
Conform for to as isn't good – will put a form
On ramp into the garage I took bottom – There I have no idea
Lamp not has real power – Changing to LEDs

So far my experience isn't so bad but there are a lot of works for my expectations.

Good night and good weekend.

You need a better battery for sure, the motor doesnt sound as though its turning as fast as it should.

Good to see you are on the move though  8)

Hi there if you have a car battery try it on your c5 to see if there is any difference in performance ..It sounds like your C5 is under power at the moment .....bye Chas

It does sound as if your motor is turning over quite slowly. You really shouldn't need to pedal on a flat with the motor on. But at least it works!

Are C5's exempt from traffic laws in Spain? eg direction of travel on one way streets?

I will try it soon, before looking for a new one.

Best regards.

Hi Coverman, answering your question I can tell you that, in Spain, there are main laws about bicicles from the government and every city can develop a special regulation for its traffic. In my city, Granada, you can ride a C5 on the sidewalk if this one is wider than ten feet and running less than 6 miles/hour and always pedestrians have the priority. If you ride on the road, in my city you can´t run counter the flood of the traffic but you can go on cyclepaths on both directions. Maximun speed on ciclepaths is 15 miles/hour. On the roads your speed is the same than the cars, no more than 30 miles/hour on the city roads. Also, it is not mandatory to use the helmet in the city, only in commute between towns. Well, I think these are the main rules here.
