Last time it got a wash was in September and now with the start of the Christmas break at school I thought I'd give it a good clean;

Before -

After -

And in it's resting place for the next two weeks -

The resprayed chassis is holding up surprisingly well - only a little surface rust showing on the pressed joint, but this should come out given a good enough clean.

I use it for commuting to school - covered over 400 miles since September.

There is little chance of it getting stolen at my school - I have permission to park in the staff car park.

At my school you have to walk through the staff car park to get to the school. It is not really a car park it is just some mud really  ::) ::) ::) ::)

Hi kamilb,

looking at the third photo I would say you need some kind of inner wheel arch.

Do they have armed guards there?   :) :) :)

I was thinking about some form of inner arch - would make it much easier to clean.

It's parked next to the caretakers' hut and they keep an eye on it. :D

That wheel arch idea, that could be Chas' next little project  ;D ;D ;D

I see what you mean Kamilb, I was out on my C5 with my dad and we went down a long Carriageway on the footpath then we came across this flood where cars have been through and had flooded the footpath, the deepest it got was less than an inch, the puddle was about 6 meters long I went through it at about 5 mph or less, when I got home I had a look underneath and it was filthy
