I have a original cover and key switch and was wondering what battery everyone has used with it.

I have searched this for as much as I could, but have had various results.

I might just go down the local factors with the cover and see what fits or halfords.

Thanks

Karl

type 038 or type 015 ;

..to be honest you'll get better reliability and increased range using the c5alive wiring kit and a type 063 or type 065 battery.

How much range do you get with the type 015 battery

So Halfords currently knocking out Leisure Batteries at 60amp or 110amp.
Is there a maximum amount of amps you should limit to to protect your vehicle or is it just a case if more amps=more miles?

There is a trade off between weight and range. Range dependent on so many factors, ambient temperature, gradients, total weight, amount of pedalling ,type of battery, that its impossible to quantify exactly

My 75AH battery weighs 17kg - a significant amount of additional weight to carry, but on the flip side I've never come close to having a flat battery.
If I could go back and chose again, then I'd definitely get a lighter battery.

I went for a PBQ battery with some modifications to the lid and the rear battery mount.
