Why you should take care of your c5 !

Don't worry, these are not piccies of "Dave"  they are of a trashed chassis that I have .

This one shows what can happen to the headstock if you bump down kerbs, hit a wall "head on" etc  ;



This is a better piccie of the way the chassis can bend on the rear brake side if you hit a pothole,large bump etc too fast ;



Not something you want to see too often  :o

Yeah the c5 chassis is wafer thin. Is the bottom picure dave ?

No , I havent got round to fixing Dave yet - but strangely enough the damage is very similar and on the same side . Voodoo was the same when I got it, and Alans (from Cambridge) was also bent in the same place.

Maybe the brake side is weaker ?

So, if Martin is restoring a C5 does this mean that he will around still in the future ? I hope he is.
