Nice machine there Krebs :)

For security reasons its better to use something like photobucket rather than hosting yourself :)

Karl

Looks like a lot of time and effort went into that mate

As umpa says , a nice looking machine  8)

Other than the lovely paintwork, what other modifications have you made ? The dashboard switches are intriguing

Many greetings from the "Saxon Switzerland" (East Germany)  ;D

As you can see he got the front and rear LED turn signals, and LED light.
The original control system is broken, so I built a separate simplified.
Man gets here, unfortunately, no parts for the Sinclair!
The rally rocker still have no function but in the center console puts the new controller.
Serves to turn signals, lights and car horn be served on the handlebars.
The paint is Posche baby blue exterior and interior Rally matte black.

Bye Silvio

another really nice job done, and i think it encourages others with less than perfect machines when members also post the details of the work, and how achieved for the benefit of other members.

personally been concerned about cellulose paint cracking, so was going to use some specialised flexible paint, and until this thread i had overlooked using paint that's used on fibre glass bodied production car's.

now encouraged by this excellent works, my plan now is i'm of to Halfords for a few tins of "Reliant Robin Yellow" (see - we brits can match the Germans for class), i can make the graffic's up on my computer program and shirt transfer system. now just need to work out what am i going call my C5?

got it -:

           "Topical Independent Transport"

agreed might be a bit of a mouthful, so should ijust shorten it to the initials?

;D

Cracks in the paint, it will not give such color!
A lot of plasticizer was used and injected into a special room.
(Air purifying and with appropriate temperature)
The paint is very flexible and the plasticizer was more expensive than the Porsche color!

I have three Sinklair C5 defective bought!

Currently, I build on the second and experiment with gears and two
high performance LED, more powerful engine, chain drive motor of one light well.

The third is only source of spare parts!

Hi KREBS, theres a lot of love in your efforts

bit of an 'in' joke i cracked.  not sure if you see the claassic comedy program 'Only Fools and Horses' in your country, but my last comments were a play on it.

they comedy characters 'Del Boy' Trotter use's a tatty yellow Reliant Robin 23 wheel van as the company transport, the company is called "Trotters Independent Traders" of "TIT" for the shortened version.

keep up the good work and please post the progress pictures

Krebs - as Umpa mentioned earlier ,you need to post your photo's using photobucket or something similar as it seems to be upsetting the forum software..
